A prize of 750,000 Riyals has been allocated for this section. The prize is awarded to distinguished initiatives (activities, programs, projects, services, etc.) submitted by individuals, government or private agencies, or universities and research centers. “National achievement” is defined as any idea, action, or financial effort, presented individually or collectively, to establish, develop, or initiate social work or any aspect thereof, and has a clear impact on society. The award aims to contribute to the encouragement and appreciation of national achievements and their think tanks that work in the interest of the country and its citizens.

  • The National Achievement Award is awarded for the work or works of individuals, groups, public and private institutions and non-profit organizations, and is not awarded to previous winners.

Candidates for the Prize must meet the following conditions

  • To be a Saudi.
  • Be of good conduct.
  • Be creative, innovative and professional.
  • Be recognized for his accomplishments and have a good reputation in society.
  • Have a positive effect directly or indirectly.

Section II: Initiatives to support and encourage Islamic Endowment

A prize of 750,000 Riyals has been allocated for this section. The Islamic Waqf (Endowment) is dedicated to every endowment that has been allocated in the Kingdom or abroad by individuals, organizations or governmental or semi-governmental institutions for the public interest. The prize aims at encouraging the practice of Islamic endowments and honoring its role in social development that ultimately helps meet humanitarian public interest.

Who is awarded the prize?

  • The prize is awarded to an endowment carried by individuals, international organizations, local and foreign civil society organizations, universities and research centers, and non-profit organizations. The prize will not be awarded to previous winners.

Candidates for the Prize must meet the following conditions:

  • Be registered with the responsible official authorities.
  • Be dedicated to the service of humanity.
  • Be consistent with the provisions of Islamic law.
  • To be directed to the general population, not to a specific group based on ethnic, doctrinal or sectarian affiliation.
  • Be established for at least three years.
  • Have implemented its main activity.

Section III: Excellence in volunteering programs and projects

A prize of 750,000 Riyals have been allocated for this section. The award aims to encourage charitable social work by highlighting distinctive models of social programs that are characterized by public benefits, transparency and effectiveness in providing their services. Social programs are defined as institutional work programs that are designed to provide non-profit educational, social, health, or cultural services in the form of supportive or monetary aid.

Who is awarded the prize?

  • The prize is awarded to distinguished social programs provided by individuals through licensed institutional work, local and foreign civil society organizations, private sector companies through their social responsibility programs, or universities and research centers.

Candidates for the Prize must meet the following conditions:

  • Must be under the supervision of a registered entity.
  • Be public.
  • The project must have been designed and implemented for at least three years.

Section IV: Social Entrepreneurship in Social Work

A prize of 750,000 Riyals has been allocated for this section. The pioneers of social work are individuals who have done great social work at the level of the country or the world. They have contributed to the service of humanity in general. They have presented examples of charitable work and ideas that have been applied in their societies. The aim of the award is to highlight the role of philanthropists and to highlight their distinctive models of philanthropy in order to motivate other individuals to present similar models that serve humanity.

Who is awarded the prize?

  • This award is given to individuals nominated by government agencies and international institutions, universities and research centers, and local and foreign civil society organizations.

Candidates for the Prize must meet the following conditions:

  • Demonstrate good conduct.
  • A distinguished career in his own work and social work.
  • Outstanding success in supporting social work via monetary support, clear action, or creative ideas.
